Electrical Power:

Atlin depends on diesel generated electric power supplied by BC Hydro. The generating station has an installed capacity of 2.605 MW. The electricity is generated at a voltage of 2400KV and is distributed at
25 KV.
Three-phase is available in certain areas.
Because of the high costs of diesel generation the rates are subsidized by BC Hydro.

The Pine Tree service station has a hose during the summer for RV's to fill upo their on-board tanks.

The Atlin Tlingit Development Corporation also delivers drinkwater, filtered and treated. Call 651 - 7615

Solid waste

The garbage dump is located east of the Como Lake day use area, just off the Atlin Road.

Sani dump

There is an RV dumping station on the south side of Discovery Road in a gravel pit 3 km. east of town.
