The Atlin Recreation Centre is a multipurpose building. Construction on the curling rink began in 1969, with construction on the hall beginning in 1971. During the construction period, all labour was volunteer, and approximately 80% of the materials were donated.
Today volunteers still play an important role in the operations.
The Recreation Centre plays host to numerous functions.

In addition to the curling rink the Atlin Recreation Centre features meeting areas designed to facilitate groups from 10 to 200 persons.
Kitchen Facilities, glass and cutlery are available for your own use, or those of your caterer.
The Clubroom Lounge is open daily from 2pm - 2am. Beer, Spirits, Keno, Pull-tabs, Pool table and Darts are available.

Weekly events:

Bingo: Monday evenings at 7pm. George Holman volunteer Bingo caller. (non-smoking event)

Aerobics Workouts: Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Monthly events:

Atlin Board of Trade: meetings on the 1st Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm.

Annual events:

Slow Pitch Baseball Tournaments

The Victoria Day, Canada Day and Labour Day long weekends feature slow pitch baseball tournaments at Tarahne Park. Local teams compete with teams from the Yukon and Alaska.
If you have a team and want a great weekend, call for information.

Curling Bonspeils

Gold Nugget Bonspeil - Mixed curling at its finest. Contested in January of each year for the past 35 years. Teams from many northern communities compete and have a good time.

Ladies Bonspeil - Hosted in February in conjunction with Valentines Day. Local teams and teams from the Yukon and Alaska. Men can enter a team if they dress in Drag! Lots of fun for all.

Halloween

Halloween dance and Children's Party. Games and events for children of the community during the day and early evening, plus a dance featuring local or other talented musicians during the evening.
