This place leaves people speechless!
Local writer Diane Smith describes Atlin as "...located in a solitary stubbornness a few miles south of the Yukon border on a lake of haunting beauty."
It's a great description, even though it's not easy to characterize Atlin.
But as the town and its breathtaking location touch each person differently, everyone who has visited this extraordinary place can agree on one thing - Atlin is the best kept secret in the north.
